We’re almost there – launch day! We’ll be starting our Gay in YA Blogathon and opening up our brand new forums at 7 PM CST tonight.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be officially “launching” in just a few days – starting April first! We’ll be kicking things off with a month long “Gay in YA” blogathon, featuring posts from bloggers and (hopefully!) authors who write canon GLBT pairings or characters in their YA. We’ll cover squeeful pairings, great characters (Dumbledore, anyone?) our favorite classic GLBT books and the real-life politics of writing, publishing, and reading GLBT fiction today.

We’ll feature a new post every day here on the site, so keep checking back (or RSS us!) for great content from fabulous bloggers. We’ll also be posting links and updates on our twitter, @theGayYA, so be sure to follow us if you haven’t already.
